West Cape Howe Wines

Beautiful winery. The range and diversity of wines definitely makes this a must stop place. We enjoyed a bottle of the sparkling with a platter. Was a great way to enjoy a Sunday spring afternoon

Sensational outlook and warm friendly wine tasting.Wow, spectacular setting - vineyards, ducks and welcoming. Jo warmly welcomed us to the cellar door and we indulged in a wonderful tasting - with Jo giving us great insight into each wine (she was fantastic).We started off with the signature wine from the region, Riesling. We tasted the Porongurup Riesling (amazing nose) and the Riesling from the Langton vineyard. We both preferred the Langton Riesling but both excellent. The other signature wine from the region is Pinot and the Single Vineyard Pinot Noir was fantastic - we loved it! We also tried the Malbec, Frankland River Shiraz and the Book Ends Cabernet Sauvignon, with my husband loving the Cab Sauv.I'd highly recommend a visit to West Cape Howe Wines - and massive thanks to Jo for great insights on the wines - brilliant and a highlight.

What an absolutely beautiful winery. Their sparkling wine is to die for! Sit in the beautiful grounds and enjoy a share platter under the beautiful trees.

Multiple visits for me, new for Bill, purchased a case of SSB and Shiraz ends, yum. We sat in for coffee and cookies. Really enjoyed their gallery, talented artists.

Tahlia was an extremely bubbly and helpful server. She was knowledgeable and easy to chat to making the experience lovely and fun! Big props, we loved her! Can’t forgot the beautiful wines, will be keeping an eye out for West Cape Howe once our purchases have been drank!

We knew as we drove in we were in for a great time. Beautiful gardens and, cellar door and staff. Very good wines and some bargain basement museum stock available at the cellar door. What made it for us was Jo, our hostess. Nothing was too much trouble and she entertained us with the West Cape Howe story and wines for at least a couple of hours. 10/10 from us.

Knowledge and enthusiasm brought by our hostess turned our regular wine tasting into a fun and exciting experience. Loved it

Popped in on our way back to Albany, really enjoyed discussing all things wine amongst other things with the charming Jo at the counter. We passed on the chardonnay as they’re not a favourite but bought 6 other wines after enjoying a bottle of their Cabernet Malbec at a restaurant the night before. We’re thinking of subscribing too, apparently they do lunches but we shall have to do that another time, lovely to speak to someone who’s not pushy or condescending and unlike many wineries down Margaret River way there’s no charge for tasting, you can try as many as you like.

We had such a great time tasting wines and chatting to Tahlia. Awesome wines, great playlist. Definitely recommend, we'll be back.
